I am incredibly behind on my blogging so I wanted to post a few photos from Lucy’s 8 month photo shoot. She is just as sweet as she looks – enjoy!

Today, I am 27. It’s been a great day and I am so blessed to have wonderful friends and family to spend the day with. Last night, at a little after midnight I got an idea. I made a list of 27 things I want to do while I’m 27. Some of them are small things (finish a whole Sunday crossword, learn to make great lentil soup), and some of them are a little bigger (run a 5k, put a new stamp in my passport) but writing about it here seemed like a good way to make myself accountable. I’m not sure if I’ll blog about all 27, but I’ll write about them from time to time. Here’s to a great year!

p.s. This came from Caroline’s cupcakes….. yum!

Here are a few photos from my shoot with 3 week old Audrey. We had a fun morning of sleeping and crying and eating… three things babies do best. Enjoy!

Two things that made me smile on this cold, snowy, gray day in Ohio….
The first are these amazing bridal hairpieces from FlortiniDesigns on Etsy. Tina – the talented artist behind these great designs- makes them from white plume feathers, white trimmed goose feathers, ostrich flutes and ivory silk magnolias. I love how romantic and elegant they feel!
Check out her Etsy shop here – she she lots of amazing pieces, and word is there will be some new lines added very soon!

The second is the infectious song by Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros called “Home”. When I hear it I can’t do anything but smile.
Enjoy!

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this…. but this is my first blog post EVER. I know blogging isn’t a new thing by any means, however it’s still very new to me. I’m really excited to be starting this online adventure!
Here are some photos from the The Portfolio Plus Workshop I attended a few weeks ago. Kenny Kim and Ray Santana were amazing hosts and Jim Garner and Dave Cross shared their wealth of knowledge about photography and photoshop. I met a lot of other amazing photographers too that really made the whole experience perfect! Here are a few of my favorite shots. A huge thanks to our models – you were amazing!
