Lacey and Adam had not only a very personal wedding, but it was romantic and fun and a true joy for me to be a part of it!

Lacey and her ladies started the day at Charles Scott Salon and Spa in Rocky River and they made sure everyone looked great!

Lacey designed everything herself and clearly has a knack for it!

This beautiful cake came from Wild Flour Bakery

The flowers were from Blooms by Plantscaping – they were gorgeous!

The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony at The Cleveland Yacht Club in Rocky River.

This hand painted “Just Married” parasol came from this great Etsy shop!

I LOVED their first dance – you could tell they put a lot of time into it!

Audio Extremes Entertainment kept the party going well into the night…

Don’t ask me why, but at one point in the evening this song came on and it just seemed to fit Lacey and Adam so well….. thanks again for letting me be there for such a special day – it was truly an honor!

27 in 27

Today, I am 27. It’s been a great day and I am so blessed to have wonderful friends and family to spend the day with. Last night, at a little after midnight I got an idea. I made a list of 27 things I want to do while I’m 27. Some of them are small things (finish a whole Sunday crossword, learn to make great lentil soup), and some of them are a little bigger (run a 5k, put a new stamp in my passport) but writing about it here seemed like a good way to make myself accountable. I’m not sure if I’ll blog about all 27, but I’ll write about them from time to time. Here’s to a great year!

Two things that made me smile on this cold, snowy, gray day in Ohio….

The first are these amazing bridal hairpieces from FlortiniDesigns on Etsy. Tina – the talented artist behind these great designs- makes them from white plume feathers, white trimmed goose feathers, ostrich flutes and ivory silk magnolias. I love how romantic and elegant they feel!

I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this…. but this is my first blog post EVER. I know blogging isn’t a new thing by any means, however it’s still very new to me. I’m really excited to be starting this online adventure!

Here are some photos from the The Portfolio Plus Workshop I attended a few weeks ago. Kenny Kim and Ray Santana were amazing hosts and Jim Garner and Dave Cross shared their wealth of knowledge about photography and photoshop.
